Where’s The Werewolf originally ran on December 11, 1982 and is part of the 12th episode of the Scooby and Scrappy Doo Puppy Hour.
This episode sees Scooby being cursed with the curse of the werewolf.
Where’s The Werewolf – Episode Review

The episode begins at 1313 Gargoyle Street where the gang are set to house sit on a dark and stormy night. Inside the house, Scrappy scares the gang with a werewolf costume, which makes Scooby pass out out of fear.

Scrappy wakes up Scooby with a random bottle of Grandma’s Wolfgang’s Hair Conditioner, which you’re not supposed to do on a full moon, and unfortunately Scooby is transformed into a werewolf.

We get some fun gags as Scooby is transformed to and from a werewolf as the moonlight hits him, and eventually Scooby ends up at a teenage party where Lance and Bulldog (two teenage boys) want to kidnap Scooby the Werewolf to make a fortune.

In between all of this Scrappy tries to find a cure, but the two boys have other plans as a reporter is on the way and they do not want Scooby to drink the antidote.
More chase scenes occur until the curse on Scooby is lifted.

My Rating
I give this episode a 5 out of 10.
Hey, now we’re talking, a return of some spookiness. Seeing Scooby as a werewolf was fun, although he was a bit mean and nasty. Scrappy as a junior chemist was also fun. But, this also a bit of rehash of Moonlight Madness where we saw the same sort of scenario with Shaggy being the Werewolf.
Regardless, this one is pretty good, but it doesn’t hold a silver candle up to the classic Scooby-Doo episodes in terms of spookiness.

So Professor Joel, is Scooby is being cursed with the curse of the werewolf because of Grandma’s Wolfgang’s Hair Conditioner?
Daphne Blake would also later become a werewolf before being cured by Flim-Flam’s Lotsa Luck Joy Juice in the first episode of “The 13 Ghosts of Scooby-Doo” called “To All The Ghouls I’ve Loved Before”, and you’re planning to review “The 13 Ghosts of Scooby-Doo” next year, once you finished doing reviews for “The New Scooby and Scrappy-Doo Show” and “The New Scooby-Doo Mysteries”, Professor Joel?
Also, have you heard that Netflix has won the bidding war for Warner Bros. (outbidding Comcast (owner of Sky and NBCUniversal) and Paramount-Skydance) as well?
The curse looks that way with the Hair Conditioner.
We’ve also seen Shaggy cursed twice! (Reluctant Werewolf and Moonlight Madness). I will be doing the 13 Ghosts of Scooby-Doo reviews next year. My reviews for the remaining Scrappy episodes are coming out slower as my website crashed and I’ve spent the last few days restoring things and re-uploading images for past reviews which has been quite time consuming.
I have heard about the Netflix/WB merger. Who knows what will come out with that? I know people are quite upset about it as Netflix isn’t known for their physical media offerings.
Who knows Professor Joel, who knows?
BTW, Paramount-Skydance is launching a hostile takeover bid for Warner Bros. Discovery and have you heard the news about that as well?
I have heard about the hostile takeover but I haven’t heard anything new about it lately in the last couple of days.
