Tenderbigfoot originally aired on October 31, 1981 and is the 2nd part of the seventh episode of the second season of The Richie Rich/Scooby-Doo Show.
This episode sees the gang at Camp Kickapoo where the gang are trying to get their camping badge for the Pioneer scouts.
Tenderbigfoot Review
The episode begins with the gang walking through the woods wearing skunk caps. Scrappy reads they have to camp overnight to earn their camp badges for the Pioneer scouts.
Looking for a spot to camp, Scooby falls off a cliff where he encounters Bigfoot. Scooby also lands on a patch of poison ivy and has the case of the itchies.
Scrappy wraps Scooby in bandages, who now looks like a mummy. He also can not move and is left to guard the food. Bigfoot ends up eating all the food and Scooby runs away with Shaggy blaming Scooby for eating everything.
Bigfoot then shows up and scares Shaggy and we get a chase in a canoe. Bigfoot falls in the water, and shrinks down to a skinnier size.
The gang make it back to camp Kickapoo. Scrappy is disappointed he didn’t win the camp badge, however, they earned badges for so many other things during their adventure.
My Review
I give this episode a 4 out of 10. I liked the look of Bigfoot and I enjoy camping, so this one was fun enough for me.
