Slippery Dan the Escape Man – Episode Review
The episode begins with Yabba, Scrappy and Dusty on a train where they tell Slippery Dan how he can never escape. The train goes through a tunnel and the lights go out, and everyone ends up in the cage where Slippery Dan once was.
We then cut to Slippery Dan hopping in his car where he’s going to high tail it to his hideaway.
Yabba gets everyone out of the cage and Yabba uses some chili snacks to make a hot air balloon to give them a birds eye view of the landscape. Up above they spot Slippery Dan.
Slippery Dan escapes, but Yabba finds him on a desert chopper – (which refers to a motorcycle, not a helicopter). At his headquarters.
Boarding up Slippery Dan’s hideaway, they try to tow his cabin away, but end up destroying their chopper instead.
They next find Slipper Dan at a hotel and pose as room service, where Scrappy is dressed as a lobster. But once again Slippery Dan escapes.
Scrappy has an idea where they put Slippery Dan in a house of mirrors on the back of a trailer at the International Border.
My Review
I give this episode a 4 out of 10. I’m warming up to these Yabba Doo episodes I think. Plus that Scrappy scene where he dances as a lobster is way out of left field and made me laugh pretty hard.
Yeah, this one’s not bad. I don’t think I’ll remember it though, hence the 4 out of 10.
Anyway, join me next week when I cover Who’s Scooby Doo
