Canine to Five originally aired on October 17, 1981 and is the 3rd part of the fifth episode of the second season of The Richie Rich/Scooby-Doo Show.
This episode sees the gang getting jobs at the science centre as secretaries where a science experiment has gone amiss.
Canine to Five – Episode Review
The episode begins with the gang getting jobs at the Witchfield science Centre. Doctor Werner Wolf hires the gang as secretaries.
Meanwhile Doctor Wolf turns himself into a werewolf, scaring the heck out of Scooby. We then get several chase scenes about the offices until they end up in the lab, where Scrappy too is turned into a werewolf and frightens the Doctor back to his normal self.
My Review
I give this episode a 3 out of 10. It was cool to see a werewolf. But, wow, is this episode silly, and boring until the last two minutes.
What makes this boring is that they are in a science centre, but 90% of this takes place in the office. It isn’t until the end that they make it to the lab and we barely see any of that at all. Seeing Scrappy as a werewolf did make this one more fun. Also, I felt the title was clever.
