Cable Car Caper – Episode Review

The episode begins with the gang putting some China plates away which are needed as evidence. On the radio they hear a report of a Cable Car and passengers going missing. They also hear that the mayor has hired the Fearless Detective Agency to solve the mystery.

Shaggy and Scooby on a Cable Car

With Uncle Fearless out of town, it’s up to our trio to solve the case.

Only one Cable Car is left, so the gang gets on board hoping the thief tries to steal it. Their plan works and they end up in an old underground city by Bruno who is one of the thieves.

Old San Fran

There they are taken to the mastermind criminal – Vendetta by Bruno – and they also find the rest of the missing people. Vendetta’s plan is to crack the underground safe and steal the gold within. Upon which they will transport it using the stolen cable car (with the missing passengers used as human labour to move the heavy gold bricks).

Bruno and Vendetta

Our trio pose as safecrackers and attempt to capture the two thieves. Scooby tries to stall the robbers, but ends up cracking the safe instead before their trap works.

Bruno and Vendetta have loaded up the cable car and make their escape, but Scooby, Shaggy and Scrappy create a new route by putting down tracks that causes the cable car to crash into the ocean.

With another mystery solved, the gang head back to the Fearless Detective Agency.

My Review

two point fiveI give this episode a 2.5 out of 10.

It’s okay, but forgettable. Vendetta the female thief is cool enough, and well, that’s all this one had going for me. Anyway, join me next week when I will be covering.
