Backstage Scooby originally aired on October 10, 1981 and is the 1st part of the fourth episode of the second season of The Richie Rich/Scooby-Doo Show.
This episode sees the gang encountering an angry Magician.
Backstage Scooby – Episode Review
The episode begins with the gang at the Marvo the Magician Show. Fresh out of funds, the gang apply for jobs as cleaners for Marvo.
Dusting Marvo’s gear, the gang ruins all many of the tricks by freeing Marvo’s rabbits who hop away. Marvo the Magician is not impressed. To make matters worse, Scrappy uses Marvo’s disappearing cape to make Marvo vanish.
Being an amateure magician, Shaggy goes on stage instead. Shaggy is somewhat successful, however Marvo reappears and is very angry until the audience applauds.
Marvo then hires the gang to be in his act, but they rush off before they can get sawed in half.
My Thoughts
I give this episode a 2.5 out of 10.
This episode is fun, but also boring. Like I somewhat enjoyed it, but I also couldn’t wait for it to be over. I guess it was just too predictable.
Anyway, join me next week when I will be covering Scooby’s House of Mystery
