Sopwith Scooby originally aired on October 31, 1981 and is the 1st part of the seventh episode of the second season of The Richie Rich/Scooby-Doo Show.
This episode finds the gang at an airshow, where they soon find themselves battling a bitter pilot in the skies.

The episode begins with the gang at an airshow. While getting ice cream, Scooby steps on the scarf of a stunt pilot named Baron Von Luftwogen. Angered, the pilot yells at Scooby enraging Scrappy.
We then get lots of shenanigans in the skies as the Scooby gang accidentally competes with the Baron for the stunt plane trophy.
After some silly gags, the gang end up winning the stunt flying trophy.
My Review
I give this episode a 2 out of 10.
It’s not horrible, and it’s funny enough, but this one would be such a huge disappointment to watch on Halloween as there is nothing spooky about it. It’s just another airplane episode, something we already saw this season with sweet dreams Scooby. Plus a few extra times in the franchise.
