Scooby’s House of Mystery originally aired on October 10, 1981 and is the 2nd part of the fourth episode of the second season of The Richie Rich/Scooby-Doo Show.
In this episode we see the gang being chased by Madam Olga who wants Scrappy’s puppy dog tail to reclaim her youth.
Scooby’s House of Mystery – Episode Review
The episode begins the gang walking to the movie theatre where they are about to see the flick ‘The Chicken that Ate Chicago.’ Walking down the sidewalk they come across a store called Madam Olga’s House of Mystery.
In the shop we meet Madam Olga who is missing puppy dog tails for her spell of reclaiming her youth. Spotting Scooby and Scrappy, Madam Olga pretends to be a mechanical fortune teller.
Madam Olga then introduces herself and explains she wants their tails.
We then get a bunch of chase scenes until the gang escapes.
My Review
I give this episode a 4 out of 10.
The shop was cool, with lots of creepy stuff for sale, and some interesting rooms. At one point we see a book called ‘The art of sneezing’ which made me laugh.
Madam Olga was also a neat villain, but they didn’t do much with her other than make her chase everyone around.
Anyway, that wraps up another review. Join me next week when I will be covering Sweet Dreams Scooby.
