A gaggle of Hanna-Barbera’s favourite cartoon characters participate in track and field competition, spoofing ABC’s “Wide World of Sports.” I guess this would have been all the rage in the ’70s and whilst I did watch it as a cereal munching infant, it was never my cup of tea, other than the enjoyable Snagglepuss commentary and Muttley snicker.   Zero spookiness ta boot, which is important to me when watching Scooby-Doo.

Other cartoon segments included “Dynomutt, Dog Wonder,” “Captain Caveman and His Teen Angels,” and of course reruns of “Scooby-Doo.”

A Hanna-Barbera Production. Two hours, Premiered on ABC: September 10, 1977
Ran From Sept 10, 1977 – July 1978 it was on Saturday’s from 9:00 – 11:00 AM
And then From July 1978 – Sept 2, 1978, it was on Saturday’s from 9:30 – 11:30 AM
